From spreadsheets to a living graph: Meridian's first 90 Days

Meridian’s data team maintained 14 spreadsheets to track pipeline health, customer health, and operational metrics. Every Monday someone spent nearly three hours pulling numbers from four tools for a report reviewed that afternoon.

The first 30 days

They connected Salesforce, Stripe, Mixpanel, and PostgreSQL. Cortex mapped relationships automatically, while validation uncovered two metric definitions that had quietly drifted between tools.

Day 90 and beyond

By day 90, ten spreadsheets were retired and the Monday report became a shared Ask query. Weekly prep dropped below 20 minutes, and ops stopped being the bottleneck for every data question.
